Quality Standards

Quality control on rebonded foam comes down to what can be checked rather than what can be asserted. The three things below are what YAYLA looks at on its own blocks, and a buyer can repeat every one of them on arrival with no laboratory.

The worked example, step by step

Density against the declared DNS

Density is the one specification a buyer can verify unaided: cut a piece of known dimensions, weigh it, and divide the mass in kilograms by the volume in cubic metres. YAYLA produces rebonded foam in DNS 50 and DNS 60 and expects that arithmetic to be repeated on goods inward. If the scale and the declared figure disagree, every other specification on the sheet is in question too.

Blocks rested before slicing

A block leaves the mould hot and still curing. Sliced before it has cooled, its sheets keep moving afterwards, and a thickness that measured correctly at the line no longer measures correctly on the buyer's bench. Blocks are rested first, which is why sheet thickness is expected to hold end to end rather than only where it was checked.

The cut face, read first

An even, void-free cut section means the foam pieces were properly coated with binder and adequately pressed. Visible voids, or coarse particles clustered in one spot, say the block is not the same density throughout — and a block that is not uniform will not behave uniformly under load. It is the first thing to look at on a sample and it needs no instrument.

What is not published here

No certification number, price, minimum order quantity, lead time or delivery term appears anywhere on this site, because none is confirmed for publication — any such figure attributed to YAYLA did not come from here. Hardness, compression set and dimensional tolerance are not published either. They depend on the measurement condition, so they are agreed in writing on the order rather than advertised as a single number.

Sustainability

Rebonded foam is made by pressing offcuts from other production back into a block under heat and pressure; its raw material is reclaimed. That is a description of the method, not a measured environmental claim. Figures such as a recycled-content percentage or a carbon footprint are not published here unless they have been verified.
